A while back we promised to let you know what goodies had arrived from Carolyn Mitchell Designs. Our package included more of her monthly 5" x 5" charted needlepoint designs, which are very portable, quick, and interesting pieces to stitch. We've filled out the line and now have all of them. There are a few missing months, so maybe Carolyn will be designing them soon. Here are the ones we have in stock now:

Another interesting, much larger, and more complex canvaswork project is
In My Wildest Dreams, a crazy-patch design that Carolyn says is a great stash project. It uses four colors (six skeins) of DMC #5 perle coton and a couple of Caron Collection Watercolours for the foundation. You add the accent color and texture from your stash of threads. The possibilities for making it your own are endless.
And we're expecting a new design any day now, Diamond Dreams, recently released in Toronto at Gitta's Getaway. We'll let you know when it comes in, along with more stock of the other charts we've been talking about. They're going fast!
We're also very excited to bring you some new bargello designs from
Lizart next week. We're kitting up her most recent designs: White Noise, Vegas Nights, and Hens & Chicks. The patterns have arrived and the materials are ordered. As soon as we have everything in hand, we'll post pictures of these beauties.
Update on Cat's Eyes from Kurdy Biggs of Threedles: We've got the patterns in and the materials for the kits ordered. Watch for those to appear soon in the Catalog.
